The good news is that I did manage to get out of bed this morning. I had actually been half awake for about 10 minutes when Mom called me. So I just laid there a couple more minutes and then rolled out of bed. Came into the kitchen to take the meds. Can't forget those . . .

Everything is still weird! You can feel it in the air. It's too quiet! Nothing seems as loud as it was! It's like there's something muffling the sounds . . .
And so many people are still out of power!
It almost makes me feel guilty that we have electricity . . . we have it, while some elderly couple is dealing with this heat . . . people who aren't as healthy as my mom and I are . . . people who can't take the heat as well . . . I don't know. I'm not sure how I feel. It's all mixed up! I feel normally one second, and the next I'm completely emotional. Maybe I'm PMSing, although I shouldn't be right now . . . but you never know.
